aktien@evogler1. The waist is 14 1/2" but remember it does have an elastic back. They are high waisted; the rise is almost 14" and the inseam is 20 1/2".

evogler1@aktien gotcha! I hate to be such a pain but I struggle to understand measurements. I wear a 26 and I’m about 5’3. Looking for snug fit in the waist but struggle with pants being too long. These look like good quality and I may be willing to have them tailored

aktien@evogler1 So, this waist is closer to 29" which might be too loose for you. I am also 5'3" and these fall a little longer than mid-calf on me. Unfortunately they are too small for me but they are really nice and didn't feel like too much pant to me.
