This is a hefty lab created stone, that weighs 11.67 grams (ring) and similar to its natural counterpart, changes color depending on the light. In natural and fluorescent light, alexandrite can range from green to greenish blue, but under incandescent or candle light, it can appear purple to purplish red or orange.
