So FAKE MACs are being sold on Poshmark, who doesn’t seem to care BTW. @color_glamz sold me one and I reported it and they did not seem to mind. For people that have very sensitive problematic skin, this post is for you. Please don’t put some unground junk on your face. I am comparing some of my MACs (bought from the counter) to the one I was fooled to buy. The font on the fake is bigger, so is the compact. Also the word MAC is ENGRAVED (feel it!) on the FRONT of the compact- not printed!

lifeinlv Also buyers- the box that a fake comes in is significantly different. Feels more papery than the real thing, which feels like a box. The font on that is different as well.

cherri_glam So I bought from her a cpl months bk.Used the product once and noticed my color seemed off.So I dismissed it as a fluke and let it go.So the other day I bought the same powder from a MAC counter.it matched perfectly!This prompted me to do a “side by side”Everything on her product was CLEARLY faked!NO stamped lettering on product,letters and spacing on box was inconsistent and fading.let’s not forget the color difference.So pissed abt this. How tf is this ok? Her items are definitely FAKE!

lifeinlv @cherri_glam unfortunately people sell items to make a quick dollar. I’m spreading the word so people don’t harm their skin! I have very very sensitive skin and this would have been a trip to the dermatologist possibly. I tried to save a dollar after having a baby, but I think I’d rather save up and get the real thing. Only $15 dollar different 🤷‍♀️ silly me

asilchic Maybe posh has a list to list of fake stuff? I had the same issue with a rare pair of nikes. Everything was slightly wrong with them. The font difference was the best give away on fakes. And spacing of letters. (Length of the swoosh and a few others). I am really bummed that they don’t stop more of the fake things here.
