Like anywhere else, there are plenty of scammers on Poshmark. I hope these guidelines are helpful as you shop on this platform, especially for designer items. princessatsea I am so tired of seeing Chanel jewelry offered with authentication cards in the photos. chanel jewelry does not come with these cards.

lisoro @kristenfry package intercept ASAP. More info here: https://www.usps.com/manage/package-intercept.htm. If you're eligible for it, hurry and do it before the package gets delivered. There is a fee for this so depending on the value of your package, you can decide if it's worth doing. I know it sucks to pay to intercept your own package, like you're buying your own stuff back. Don't give up or get discouraged. Good luck.

ricedoll Urghh. I lost my common sense. I fell for a classic scam- new seller, one item listed and strange user name. The item was shipped out and it was suppose to be delivered today than I got this message from usps: Your item was returned to the sender because the addressee was not known at the delivery address noted on the package. Does this mean the sale will be automatically cancelled since I never received it? Or do I still have to fight for a refund? Thanks in advance.

elisamonice84 @ricedoll that’s a new scam I have noticed. So posh will give you a refund bc it wasn’t delivered & they will also release the money to the seller as well.

graycart this is getting so ridiculous, i’ve been religiously reporting them but poshmark isn’t doing much or there are too many because I still see them

lisoro @ricedoll so sorry to hear that. Contact Poshmark right away and explain what just happened. If you never received your item and you have the USPS message as proof that it was returned to sender, then you'll get your refund. Good luck!

alwaysreselling Great post! I’ve seen so many people get scammed by sending their money to a seller via ven. mo when in reality the seller does not have the item and has stolen the pictures of said item. If you’re ever going to take a purchase off Poshmark make sure it’s with a reputable seller and you have some sort of protection ie buying via another reputable app, or paying via p.p: goods and services.

allblacbarbie I ordered shoes, they claim to have delivery them I have yet to see them, in record time I might add, but as soon as it was listed as pending acceptance the seller deleted the post. I contacted Poshmark and explained, they said they are looking into it. This has never happened to me b4, I hope they will refund me, but I fear they may have paid the seller already since now it is marked as Delivered....ughhhhh

lisagranberg Thank you for posting this about scammers...I have placed 3 orders and had to cancel as never received package, Aunthentic Chanel bag she delivered a phone cord !!! contacted seller no response.. ordered Gucci bag, 2 Authentic Chanel bags . Reported and immediate action was taken cancel order and full credit given back to my card. Thank you for protecting the buyer from Scammers .

ashleysea206 I’ve seen so many that say ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️seller and TRUSTED SELLER When it’s a brand new account with zero sales or reviews. 🤦🏼‍♀️ And it’s becoming harder and harder to find authentic items because now even pm ambassadors and long time sellers are selling fakes. I’ve given up on buying anything valuable on here.
