jynxstore @thegirlingrey YES! It’s a goal to rescue a racing grey, but our two current rescue dogs are both seniors. And we live in a fairly small house, so maybe someday. We rescued two kittens awhile back so four animals, two adults, two teenagers is all we can handle!! I also want to foster someday. Anyways, thx & good luck w rescuing deserving, beautiful greyhounds. 🙌🏼

thegirlingrey @jynxstore yes you certainly have your hands full but it's all worth it 😊. Just so you know, Greyhounds do great in smaller environments. They are great apartment dogs. We have tons that we have adopted to people who live in NYC and Brooklyn and they do great in the smaller apartments there. Have a great weekend 😀

jynxstore @thegirlingrey oh thx, yes I know they are good in small environments. We actually live in a farmhouse on two acres!! But they are indoor dogs ultimately and we are in the north so right now, everyone is inside 24/7 ❄️ but our whippet is quite needy and attached and our corgi rescue can hardly get around anymore, sadly. But, one day we can take in another & we would love a greyhound.

designer12210 LOVE THIS! My cousin rescued a retired racing Greyhound from Florida, when racing was finally outlawed. Cora is a regal angel, and so sweet. ❤️❤️

jimcherrix Absolutely love your cause. I had a greyhound I rescued where someone just dropped this puppy off in the middle of a shopping center. Well, Chance (named after the Homeward Bound movie), hit the lottery. My 'free' puppy cost me $125 at the vets with a discount. I also couldn't throw a tennis ball far enough so I got my old tennis 🎾 out. She's now gone but the 14.5 years she warmed my heart will stay with me until I see her again at the 🌈 bridge.
