catherinelegate These Levis were in storage and purchased by a family member Most info on internet deals with only Levis jeans Please note all Levis are dated & have a PC9 # (product code) this code can tell you when a pair was made. The number on the back of the waist button will match the number on the care tag ALL levi's with a capital E in LEvis were made in 1960's Lower case e was introduced in 1970 The Care tag was NOT implemented in Levis pants until 1971

catherinelegate the PC9 number for these slacks is printed on the store price tag, it also says made in USA The garment care tag is dated 74 5 Meaning: May 1974 if you look on your care tag you will see the matching number for the waist button, along side or below that you will see the printed date of when your levi's were made ALL Levis products were made/produced in USA until 2000. Anything produced in another country is not vintage Thank you 😊♥️🌻🌼

catherinelegate The company itself does not consider the garment true vintage unless it was made in the USA. These slacks are rare because Levi's are known for their riveted denim jeans, which was first designed & patented in the 1800's to add strength to pockets for miners whose denim pants fell apart easily. The slacks are 51 years old and in perfect condition except for the tiny spots pictured.

catherinelegate The slacks have all tags intact along with the original store paper bag where they were purchased on Long Island, NY. Anyone whose a collector of true Levi's vintage clothing these slacks are a must have!
