There’s a new scam going around. These sold yesterday. A scammer took exact listing posted with bunch different sizes. People have been buying. I don’t know exactly how but it’s a scam. The last photo is the real listing. I’ve reported but keep reporting so can get removed. Now sure how to find out those who bought them.

That’s not ok! What made you think these weren’t real?

posh needs to actually do something about this, their inaction is bullshit. Thanks @chellesscloset for looking out for people! 💛

@knarrlygirl because lady who posted this sold them few days ago. It’s a new scam. Then a new account copied her photos and wording and put about twenty sizes under one listing. You can’t have twenty of the exact used shoe in a photo. And freebird doesn’t make half sizes. I was notified of the new scam a week ago. This is third on freebirds I’ve seen since. It’s happening all over posh.

@sfall777 two people purchased them already and I’m not sure how it works but someone messaged me about it other week. I’ve seen it happen three times on freebirds since. Copy exact photos and wording of shoes sold day before. And posh isn’t taking them down.

@knarrlygirl from what I’m told you purchase. Item starts tracking. You end up receiving small amazon package with pair $1 socks in it instead. If you don’t realize it’s the item you purchased here the scammer gets there money in three days.

@chellesscloset wow I hope most people are checking their items

@aliciath if you get amazon package not realize it’s the posh item and wait too long you stuck!

Update. Looks like posh caught it deleted that account and listings so hopefully they’ll keep catching them. Been several last week under freebirds. But worse on items like boutique stuff. Hard to tell. We know no one owns ten same freebird. But other stuff may be easier to scam

@chellesscloset wow! This is a very important detail that can help people from being scammed. So are they putting their posh postage on an Amazon box so it will track?

@chellesscloset this same thing happened to me on another site but they found in favor of the seller. Many are doing this scam. It is sad.

@sfall777 This is the one issue I have with posh. They take a good chunk of $. I do all the work. They do very little, very late, if they help me at all.

@knarrlygirl Agree. NOT o.k.

@junenutter if you don’t accept within three days they get released funds. So if you happen be out town etc.

I just had this happen to me on another site. I was following the tracking, then it was marked as "delivered" but I had only recieved a few letters that day, so I'm not sure exactly which envelope it was? Still fighting about it.:(

@junenutter Even if you dispute the purchase,Poshmark favors the seller. It's ridiculous.

@ faith hommes put out a YouTube video about a similar scam after she bought a cheap item on posh which ended up being a scam similar to this one.
