danielad84 @olajokesalami Hi, Actually I am woman 😁 If you see item that is not for sale it either means that it sold on another platform and the seller marked it not for sale here till the buyer receives it and then tge seller will remove the listing from here. But if you see that the seller's entire closet is mark not for sale then the seller is most probably away and not being able to ship - which is actually my current situation too.

tamalahall Thank you. Very informative. I wish I had found your info before buying a bracelet on here in August. (I want to blast the seller but I know that wouldn’t be professional or nice) The bracelet had all of the hallmarks and looked very authentic. It has Since faded and turned brassy. I took it to my local jeweler who verified it was silver plated. Of course Poshmark could not refund my money because the time had expired. They did give me a little site credit. It’s just sad!! Buyers Beware!!!!!!

tamalahall @danielad84 yes. Seller is still active but now the “sold” listing is gone. The purchase still shows on my profile. After countless emails disputing with them they sent me a final email saying they had issued me a site credit for less than half of the sale. I asked for a full refund.

tamalahall @danielad84 Poshmark kept referring me to the 3 day refund request. As I stated to them, I didn’t want to return it Bc I thought I had purchased an authentic item. It wasn’t until November that it turned and was clear it wasn’t genuine silver.

danielad84 @ejantiques You are quite welcome. I would first look for the stone height and color . Then the connection loops near the clasp along with the clasp itself and the stamp. The prongs that hold the stone and the back finish if the pendant. That's what I always look for but it's difficult when you haven't seen an authentic one 😕

danielad84 @joni10kay Not always unfortunately. I have seen some authentic Yurman giving hard time to the posh authentication crew . Especially the vintage ones. And the other way around, some fake ones being passed as authentic. I am not very certain if they are currently using an in-house authenticator or a 3rd party website. I recall a year or so ago of them using a 3rd party authenticator and the website's authenticator was nowhere near an Yurman expert and they used to fail ofcourse.

joni10kay THANK YOU for your information. I am pretty sure the Starburst necklace is a fake. When I opened it I told my husband "probably not real". I have enough real stuff that I could just "feel it". I wear it as a casual piece. Oh well, lesson learned. If I get more curious I will send pictures. Again, thank you so much!
