Truly vintage Mexican Saltillo Serape Blanket Handwoven Fringe, very colorful! The collector had family in Mexico and collected many vintage Mexican items. In excellent condition other than the small tear on one of the sides, see picture. Approximately 35 in x 74 in (88 in with fringe) Hang it as a tapestry, use it as a table runner, lay it across a bed or chair! This has not been washed as it is old, but it does not have a smell of any kind. Smoke-free home. Lint-rolled.

legaleee its wool, right? is the fringe intact or mostly intact?

excarlyarmus @legaleee I have no way of knowing and dug around to try to find an answer for you. I bought this at an estate sale and the lady who collected it has family in Mexico and apparently bought it there. I saw in an article that the color blocks are often separated by the colors of the Mexican flag if it's authentic, and mine isn't. I may need to take it down and have it appraised before relisting.
