onegirlforever I took my fur out of the sauce yesterday, could still smell mothballs but it was much more diminished. Unfortunately, the smell is something, even in small doses, annoying! Put it in the sun, fur perked up, but hide backside quite noticeable. What, like 3+ months in the container already??! Ugh. Growl. Today will spray hide with vinegar…. 😩

extra_ish @onegirlforever oh noooo! I keep looking at the one pelt I kept in our shed and think, please, let the cedar box magic work so I can use it for the Holiday season… this I terrible news 🥺 Don’t try the vinegar, it just makes the smell worse and pelt gets all wrinkled on the bottom. I’m sorry to say but we will just have to accept defeat in this adventure… I’ll use it outside and maybe scare away the deer who keep eating all my tomatoes 🤪
