Made this listing to show what authentic Muranos look like and to show how there can be slight variations between two authentic Muranos since they are all handmade. Most Pandora Disney Muranos on here are fake! Please beware! Tag me and I’d love to help authenticate a charm for you! angelamarie14xo Here is some info about the glow: AUTHENTIC Disney Muranos use a phosphor called strontium aluminate. This glow should be strong after seconds under the light, and should not fade over time (chemical lasts 100+ years). If a seller tells you that the glow isn’t as strong because it has faded over time, they are LYING! Fake Muranos use a cheaper phosphor called zinc sulphide. Strontium aluminate is 10x stronger and lasts 10x longer than zinc sulphide!

angelamarie14xo You can see my two fake Snow White Muranos - one glows a lime green (obvious fake), and the other glows the right color blue but is no where near as bright or as strong as the authentic Muranos.

angelamarie14xo The silver caps is one of the biggest tells that a murano is fake. The silver caps should be added to the glass while the glass is hot, therefore they should be flush with the glass. If the solver cap sticks out, the charm is probably FAKE because it was glued on after the glass bead was already made!

angelamarie14xo Look closely at the hallmarks. Specifically, you can see that the font on the fake Muranos is very different than font on the authentic Muranos. It is easy to see that the letter “A” is much more rounded on the fakes.

fashionnv @angelamarie14xo Isn't it just insane how many fakes are out there!?! I've come to the conclusion that shopping for Pandora on this site is definitely NOT worth the time or money. I've gotten some good deals in the past but have also received plenty of fakes here too. Now the majority of charms sold on this platform are fake.

angelamarie14xo Keep in mind that size, color and amount of glitter varies from charm to charm because all of the authentic Muranos are HAND MADE! All of my Muranos are authentic (except for the two fake Snow White Muranos that I show pictures of), yet some of my authentic Muranos vary in size, shape, color and amount of glitter. This is not necessarily worrisome! However, TYPE OF GLITTER does matter! Fake Muranos use glitter that look like shards of silver metal.

angelamarie14xo @fashionnv I was lucky enough to find one real Snow White murano on here for super cheap and I bought it because by that time I knew all of the signs to look for. But before I was knowledgable, I wasted tons of money on fakes and was lied to by many sellers. The sellers fought back again my returns, which were subsequently denied by Poshmark. Eventually got my money by filing a claim with my credit card company. But I agree, buying Pandora on Poshmark is not worth the headache. It’s all fake

I saw one on e /bay going for $160 USD + $40 shipping (from the UK), and another girl I know was selling for 155 euros which is again almost $200 USD. My dad got 1 of them at the Pandora outlet for $27, I got one on Poshmark for $25, and the third I paid full price for

angelamarie14xo @hernandez2487 I’m fairly sure that one is real, however, my only issue with that one is that she stated it was brand new and never used but it looked like it had glass damage/scuffs on the glass from the pictures

angelamarie14xo Another RED FLAG 🚩 Beware of sellers on Poshmark, Mer / cari and e / Bay that have dozens of Disney Muranos for sale, or say that they are able to “get more” in. They are selling FAKES! These are no longer being produced, therefore there is no way for sellers to get new supplies of these charms in on a regular basis. The remaining authentic Muranos are more likely to come from someone who is selling their personal collection, or a legit jewelry store that is clearing out their stock online.

angelamarie14xo Another red flag 🚩 Notice the difference in the appearance of the glitter in my real Snow White murano Vs. the fake Snow White murano. The fake glitter looks like silver metal shards. That is NOT what the glitter should look like! The glitter should look like actual pieces of glitter with a holographic/rainbow effect - NOT LIKE SILVER METAL SHARDS!
