This bag is super fun and bright! Not quite pebbled leather but it is a textured material with a shiny finish. There is discoloration to the lining, shown in pictures. It does not affect the use of the bag. There is wear on the bottom of the bag, notably in the corners. 12" across the bottom (seam to seam). 13" tall. The top is a magnetic closure. There is 1 zipper pouch and 2 open pouches in the interior. Smoke free, cat free home. We do have dogs. I purchased this bag from Nordstrom in 2010ish
