Turkish Wedding Mirror
This Turkish wall mirror is a traditional piece, included in every bride's dowry. They are usually given by the groom to the bride as part of a dowry, and will hang in the sitting room for good luck. Mirrors are hung facing the wall when not in use, to display the decorative back.
Handmade in Turkey approx. in 1950s. Oval shape silver mirror with chain, ornate design, signed 900. Very good condition, no scratches.
Approximately 5” high, 6.5” wide, .5” thick
