@caroline9715 hi Caroline! The dress is of a loose fit with the adjustable tie waist belt. Itβs not meant to be be βbody huggingβ β as youβll see on the model the gathered fabric throughout the waist once the belt is secured. Thatβs the style / design. However, as per the designer details, itβs true to size.

@caroline9715 hi again! Itβs roughly 19:5β as seen at the front, so, that number x 2 = 39β for the waist circumference. As mentioned, donβt be frightened by those numbers, as the design is like a βshirt dressβ for which the belt is used to secure for a more fitted appearance

The dress is designed to have that βoversizedβ look which is evidenced by the pleats as seen around the waist of the model. Thatβs just the design, but yes, double check to ensure which you believe is the better option for you.
