This vintage dress is amazing. It does have a lightened area on the front and the back, about 20" up from the bottom. Please see photos. Other than that, so gorgeous. So much work went into that waist detail! I think it is 100% cotton and it has a Venus zipper. I think it measures like a Small, but please check measurements before buying. It measures approximately 34" around the bust, 28" around the waist, 36" around the hips & 55" long
