cheddylux @temeka_williams this was purchased July 17, 2021. Date codes are now obsolete, it’s been eliminated, it’s a thing of the past. Louis Vuitton has now implemented microchip embedded into their items as of March of this year 2021😉

cheddylux @temeka_williams date code or serial code is not the only basis for authenticating any luxury bag but in general as a whole, like material, canvas, hardwares, stitchings, symmetry, logo, print, heat stamp etc. NFC tool app can scan lv bags with microchip that will verify embedded microchip. Poshmark expert luxury authenticator doesn’t authentic online. It gets sent out to poshmarkHQ in California for inspection & verification of authenticity.

The microchip was implemented by Louis Vuitton to crack down on the counterfeiters because they have gotten better in making replicas😒

I just purchased a bag last week from LV & it’s an NFC app you download on your phone & the serial number will come up, so it’s actually will make the authentication process quicker now, since you just run the scanner on the outside of the purse, wallet. ect & it comes up within 15 seconds, hope that helps!

styl1stcloset @temeka_williams I highly recommend you take a look at my real versus faux LV post bc date codes only went on a number of real products - they’re just easy to replicate - but it’s usually a good sign if the bag is “vintage” yet the code looks pretty new, and I say this with lots of love bc it’s upsets me that pushers spend your hard earned money on faux bags
