totopuff @mrswolfen ACCEPTED! Kindness goes so far with me! If someone were to make me an insane offer, for example if I had $100 item and they offered me $10, which believe it or not, some people will do, I don’t even bother responding. If someone’s kind enough to ask, I pretty much will accept the offer unless it’s not ridiculous. I have had a huge unforeseen house expense this past week so believe me, I know what it’s like to have limited funds. 🙏🏻

mrswolfen Ah, ha....we have something else in common besides appreciating when folks are nice to us! I don't have real children either (well, I do have stepchildren, so don't tell them I said that!), but I have a furbaby, too! If I knew how to attach a picture to this message I would send you a picture of Lucy. She's a little Pekingese, & since my husband passed 3 years ago she is my constant companion. They can be so sweet, can't they? I can't tell from Bella's picture - what breed is she?

She is as sweet she looks, and I am madly in love with her. Also, I absolutely love the Pekingese breed. They are wonderful. I can’t imagine life without a furbaby. I would have a dozen if I could afford it. Also, I meant to tell you that your sweater was mailed yesterday morning, and it has been tracking since yesterday

I figured out how to get a picture loaded - so here is Lucy! I might change the photo next time I send a message & try to get one that is a little closer so you can see her face better. mrswolfen Thank you! I don't know how to send pics. The only thing I learned was how to add her photo in my logo spot. Can you tell me how to send pics? Or....I guess I could just change her photo in my logo space every day or so!! Ha! Is your Bella a Peke? Or at least part Peke? she has the cutest little face! They are so sweet, aren't they? I don't know how anyone could refuse them anything when they look at you with that face!

totopuff @mrswolfen Yes, you will have to add them on your page. My Bella is a purebred Shih Tzu. I had two Shih Tzus before her, which I rescued. I was living in Palm Beach County and it was easy to rescue dogs. When I moved back home to Lexington, I had just lost my last one 10 days before and I was a mess. I vowed that I would not be one week without a Shih Tzu.

totopuff @mrswolfen So, I found a breeder here whose mother was from the little town where I was born. I knew his uncle. His grandfather owned just about the whole town. So, I knew that he would be honest and reliable. He had two puppies left and I spoke to him at 10 o’clock one night and got Bella at 9 o’clock the next morning. I was so thrilled. I held her in my hand and cried the whole way home. She weighed 1.4 pounds.❤️❤️❤️

mrswolfen Hi: Wow! Sounds like you & Bella were destined to be together! What a wonderful story! I changed my logo picture to a new one of Lucy. As you can see, she is overweight. I keep her in a "puppy cut" because she gets so hot if I let her fur grow long. She always has a bit of saliva on her lip bottom lip; the Vet had to remove several teeth & without them to hold the saliva in, it just comes out. Her tongue goes up, but not down, so she can't get to her bottom lip!

totopuff @mrswolfen My first Shih Tzu, Coco was a rescue and she lived to be almost 20. As she was dying from cancer of the salivary gland, I rescued another. When I got to the rescue, they said do you want him and I said of course, what is his name and they said Coco. I flipped out. I couldn’t have two dogs with the same name so I named him Toto so as not to confuse him. The day I got him was the anniversary of my father’s passing. (Cont.)

totopuff @mrswolfen The lady had been struck by a car and killed on New Year’s Eve. He had a large dog named Scruffy as a brother and my best guy friend rescued Scruffy. When we got his pedigree, his birthday was December 30, the same day as my mother’s. I was so in love with both of these dogs and then Toto got sick and died 10 days before I moved back home. I literally went off the rails.

Lucy came to me from Michigan. We had bought a Peke puppy from a breeder there years ago. She didn't live a long life; we only had her about 11 years. (continued)

mrswolfen After she passed(her name was Destiny) we got one that was a few years old, but had a weak heart.We only had her 4 months.I was ready to give up on having another one, when the breeder (Paula) in MI who we got Destiny from sent us a photo of Lucy. Another breeder that she knew was rehoming Lucy & Paula thought we would love her. She was right! Lucy arrived about 3 weeks before Ed passed. She was 6 1/2 yrs. old when we got her; is now 9 1/2. She has epilepsy, but I give her meds for that. cont'd.

About the furbabies , yes, there were some strange coincidences. Even me finding Bella‘s breeder was awesome because of him being born in the same old town, I was born. I’ve always loved Pekingese dogs and Shih Tzus and I think the breeds are similar. This little one rules the house with the iron paw.🤣.
