Peacock Shaped Brass Betel Nut Box

Vintage Collectible Handcrafted Brass Betel Box in very good used condition. 8.5 in Height, 14in Length It comes from India and Southeast Asia, and was used for containing a combination of lime and spices with a plant stimulant. Similar but very different to smoking cigarettes. Please note that the Peacock's crest is bent. I am fairly sure it could be straightened, but I chose not to do so.
