Beautiful victorian era locket made from vulcanite ! Floral motif applied to the outside with additional intricate carved detailing on the inside of the locket ! This piece dates back to the late 1800s and was worn in times of mourning.
The color of the vulcanite has faded a bit into being more of a dark brown. The last photo is with another piece I have for sale which is darker black for your reference. Listing is for locket only.
One side of inside has a glass cover one side is open.
