vintagesedai Did you make a typo in your price? These typically sell for $150-200.

vintagesedai @gypsysmisfits just search “antique Edwardian leather wedding shoes” or “1900s white leather shoes” on either of those sites that start with “E”. Right now there’s multiple pairs in various conditions as low as $50. The price you have on these is about twenty times higher than the highest price rare antique shoes go for. Higher than fine designer gowns achieve at auction. I assumed it was a typo because otherwise, it would be delusional. I could buy two Victorian Worth gowns for that price.

gypsysmisfits @pdxvintagette my great grands on down the line before me actually got these quality queen shoes bak in the 1800s and kept in the original box. look and try finding quality queen shoes in the original box. read the history on these shoes. it's a pretty awesome read. jsbut I do feel mine are worth way more than any old antique shoes that I seen online. most I saw were from the 1900s mine are from the 1800s.thanks ✌️☮️sorry my phone doesn't want to work right. I meant I am running late✌️☮️

vintagesedai @gypsysmisfits their precise year Reilly has no bearing on their value- they are common. Rococo shoes from the 1700s sell for half or less of that price and those are truly RARE. Your family history doesn’t add any value. Pricing them 100 times higher than comparable pairs is useless. I’m a professional and I’m trying to help. Just wrap them in archival tissue, and keep them for future generations, and enjoy them because it’s clear their family history has enormous meaning for you.

vintagesedai @gypsysmisfits also - I’m well aware of Queen quality shoes. They were the largest shoe factory in the world at their time and - having checked again just now - made 13,000 pairs of shoes EVERY DAY. I was easily able to find another pair of shoes with a box listed for $102. The impressive output of that factory works against the value of a pair, not for it. That’s why couture gowns of which only a few pieces were made are rare and expensive, and shoes of the era … are not.
