opaleone How do these fit size wise? :)

botablu @opaleone Hi! They usually run pretty true sometimes with a little extra room. Happy to double check these particular ones. What size do you wear?
Jan 10Reply
opaleone
opaleone Generally a size 7ish... That's the problem. LOL So probably a size 7 true with some nice insoles it sounds like sadly. :( These are beautiful... Such an amazing color.

botablu @opaleone I’m happy to double check. I usually wear a 6.5 so can give you a very good idea. They are really awesome ones!

opaleone
opaleone That would be cool, thank you. :)

botablu @opaleone Probably 6.5 would be best. But have many others in a 7! Did you see the rare campus tall lace up ones??

opaleone OMG Don't taunt me. 😜 I've had those saved for like, 3 weeks now. Those are a tad out of my price range, unless I plan on saving up for them. ;)

botablu @opaleone Save up! They’re AWESOME. 😉

caitlinb73 Hi! I saw in the other comments you said you wear size 6.5. I’m usually a 6.5 in other boots and heels, and I have a 6.5 in the Frye Engineer boots. Do these fit like a true 6.5?

botablu @caitlinb73 Hi. Yes, they should work well for you.

caitlinb73 @botablu thanks! Strongly considering these, I love the distressed look!

botablu @caitlinb73 Great. They’re really awesome ones. And fantastic price! 😉

caitlinb73 @botablu would you mind measuring the length underfoot from heel to toe for me? Would like to compare to my other Frye boots at home!
Jan 14Reply
botablu
botablu @caitlinb73 We don’t supply those kinds of measurements you see others who don’t know boots posting—they’re extremely unreliable and frankly, irresponsible to provide. If you want more info on that you could see our series on proper boot measurements. Happy to provide an insole measurement but if you’re not familiar with obtaining those it can be tricky. You can’t get a better predictor than someone who wears your size though.😁

caitlinb73 @botablu No problem, totally understand discomfort with providing too much info on here.
Jan 14Reply
botablu
botablu @caitlinb73 Oh it’s not at all that we won’t provide info. But as a trusted boot seller, we won’t provide unreliable &/or meaningless info that could only lead to an unhappy customer. That’s all. As I said, happy to get you the insole measurement if you feel comfortable with how to accurately obtain that for comparative purposes.

caitlinb73
caitlinb73 @botablu o yes that would be helpful! Sorry for misunderstanding, obviously you can’t make returns on Posh so when I’m making a higher $$ purchase on here I like to get as much info as possible!

botablu @caitlinb73 Do you have the Frye’s there you can measure to compare? If so, & you have a hard tape measure I’ll tell you what to do.
Jan 14Reply
botablu
botablu @caitlinb73 I just want to be sure you can obtain an accurate measurement before I have these pulled.
Jan 14Reply
caitlinb73
caitlinb73 @botablu Yup! Planning to use my Engineer 12Rs in size 6.5 to compare.
Jan 14Reply
botablu
botablu @caitlinb73 Put the hard tape measure inside—make sure it’s up to the toe—press it flat to the bottom of the footbed with your hand—hold it still while you take your hand out—and tell me what the measurement is looking at where the footbed and back wall of the boot meet.
Jan 14Reply
caitlinb73
caitlinb73 @botablu done, it’s almost exactly 9 inches. Just a little bit under but a small enough amount that I can’t see it.
Jan 14Reply
botablu
botablu @caitlinb73 That’s not an accurate footbed measurement for a size 6.5. Did you press the tape measure flat? It must be completely flat with the contour of the insole.
Jan 14Reply
caitlinb73
caitlinb73 @botablu yes, as best I could. The footbed has a slight contour to it (1.5 inch heel to the boot). I can try again later to be sure.
Jan 14Reply
botablu
botablu @caitlinb73 Yes, that’s why I’m saying it has to be pushed completely flat with your hand—held in place—measuring to include the contour.
Jan 14Reply
botablu
botablu @caitlinb73 Did you get to try again? You should get much closer to a 9.5” measurement or so.

emilyjd53 Do you have a pair in a 7.5 or 8, by chance?
Apr 02Reply
botablu
botablu @emilyjd53 Yes, I believe so. I’ll check & tag you if they’re listed.

emilyjd53
emilyjd53 Thanks!

botablu @emilyjd53 Tagged you on 2 pairs. One almost identical to these and the other a campus stitching horse. I have others too.
