Vintage Art Deco Faux Fur Jacket

This vintage evening jacket is a wonderfully mixed bag. First, I bought it from the lady who replaced the lining. She claimed to have bought it in the early 80s from the original owner, an elderly lady who received this as a wedding gift sometime in the 20s. I don’t know enough about fabrics to tell you if this story adds up. I do know the clasp is genuinely old. And the jacket is well made. There are no visible tags, and I do not think there are any under the lining, but I’ve never removed the lining. The cut is fun to wear, but works best if you’re not using your arms for something like driving. The arms are a bat-wing cut, that’s not very obvious until you have it on. I’ve worn it for a NYE wedding, but it’s mostly been stored. Please see photos, there are a few threads I’ve never cut, and the lining in one arm is becoming loose, but overall it’s in great shape. My home is smoke free, but pet friendly.
