Rare round Buchner handbag 1948 Collectors

Collector's Item: Very rare round handbag in deep brown suede with gold-plated frame from 1948, designed by Eugenie Buchner Wax. See vintage ad for this handbag in pics. Outside is in good vintage condition with some evidence of wear and tear, inside looks unused, lined in lovely chocolate moire silk. Comes with a small comb, hand mirror in moire case (still wrapped in tissue) and moire coin purse - all appear unused. Unique gold-plated frame with wishbone kiss lock closure, no signs of wear. Strap has approximately 6.5" drop. Research shows this bag may have been made in Italy or in New York. An interesting businesswoman based in NYC, Eugenie Buchner was quoted as saying, "My things are special, for special people." Vintage goodness. Bags by Buchner.
