flatter_me_too it's a little hard to measure as there is alot of stretch inches material. lying flat was not easy to measure. I also gave you the measurement of thr drape from the waist, which is a draw string and very adjustable. I m a size 10, my maniken is about an 8 and the top is a bit roomy, and I m guessing that it would fit a 12. if u r a M with broad shoulders, not to worry. I hope.this helps. I have bought pieces and not asked for measurements and they did not fit. let me know if u need other info.
