Frye Carmen Leather Harness Short Boots Whiskey 8.5 9

Gorgeous mid-calf boots from Frye, in a rich color they call Whisky. I'll begin by addressing sizing. Mfr site indicated these run true to size. IMO, this pair does not. I'm a true 9.5, with a bit wider instep, and tried to get my right foot in these, and no way would it fit. I don't have 'cankles' or heavy calves. I did get the left one on, with a stocking clad foot, and my toe hit the end. That said, I would say these run 1/2 to 1 size small. It will depend on what kind of leg wear you intend to use with these. Condition is excellent with couple minor scuffs, & minor wear to sole. Easy on dual pull tabs. Leather harness detail at ankles. Leather lining and sole. Antiqued brass hardware, stacked heels. Intentional burnishing to toes - the leather is treated this way & not flawed.
