Music Boxes from this collection were all superbly crafted Jacks-In-The-Box measuring 6" square and when closed 8" high. The Wizard of Oz boxes featured the Metro Goldwyn Meyer logo on the lid. When opened they all reached approximately 12 3/4".  Box is made of lacquered wood. The Scarecrow has a painted porcelain face and adorable fabric hat and outfit. He pops out of the box when it is open by a spring, just like the Jack In The box music boxes of long ago. Housed in a beautifully illustrated laminated box decorated with nostaligic scenes on all sides of the music box from the movie.
