An original beaded necklace with 1" polished yellow turquoise stones and light yellow and black raku clay beads, a Bali Silver S hook closure and chain extender of up to 1 1/2". The necklace is approximately 18" fully extended. Turquoise is a purification stone. It dispels negative energy and can be worn to protect against outside influences or pollutants in the atmosphere. Turquoise balances and aligns all the chakras, stabilizing mood swings and instilling inner calm. It is excellent for depression and exhaustion, it also has the power to prevent panic attacks. Turquoise promotes self-realization and assists creative problem solving. It is a symbol of friendship, and stimulates romantic love. Yellow Turquoise is formed by the inclusion of iron. Yellow Turquoise helps to connect with spirit and brings the energy of the sky down to earth. Raku generally refers to a type of low-firing process that was inspired by traditional Japanese raku firing. Western-style raku usually involves removing pottery from the kiln while at bright red heat and placing it into containers with combustible materials. Once the materials ignite, the containers are closed. This produces an intense reduction atmosphere which affects the colors in glazes and clay bodies. The drastic thermal shock also produces cracking—known as crackling since it is deliberate. The original Japanese style of raku is an outgrowth from Buddhist influences in life and especially in the tea ceremony.

twomanycats24 @kmg8667 I purchased it from a local artisan years ago in CT. I'd look on Etsy, maybe you can find something similar. 💙
