Antique Staffordshire Garden Scenery Blue Transferware Soup Bowl Mayer Longport Circa 1843-55 Scene is a rustic garden house with a thatched roof to the left with trees surrounding it and a fence in the back. A man with a high hat, a woman with a parasol, and a child playing with a dog are in the foreground on a lawn. Behind the group is a lake or river, a large castle, and mountains in the distance. Marked Mayer and stamped Longport with impressed mark. Width - about 10 1/4 inches. Depth - about 2 inches. Some utensil marks and a little rough edges. No crazing on front. Some crazing on back.
