lynda721@fancycandy007 Thank you for that. I can’t believe how hard she is fighting. We are already past the Drs estimates but, it’s so hard to watch someone demise. I just started putting flowers in her room and that was the first smile I’ve seen in a while. Keeping the positivity at the forefront. That’s why when I do have a chance to jump on Posh, I do it; even if only for a short time. I usually end up talking to one of my PFFs (like you right now).

Mar 25Reply
lynda721
lynda721@indigo_w128 He is old and he also has an infection that is untreatable. We have been watching him very carefully to make sure he is not in pain. He seems to be fragile at times and then he will act like a pup for a few minutes playing with his toys but, he can’t play for very long. He gets tired. He has an appointment on Monday with our Vet. Thank you for your concern. It’s so hard to lose a pet; no matter how old you are.

lynda721@shiloh077 Unfortunately, he cannot recover from the infection he has. I could have only one more day with him or not. We don’t know. It’s been a really long past three weeks. He was exhibiting symptoms since the beginning of the year but, they come and go. I am just giving him all the love I have to give right now. In the picture I just posted, you can see in his eyes that he is hurting. 😢
Mar 26Reply
lynda721
lynda721@shiloh077 He will not let me work because he wants my constant touch. I have to get it in while he is sleeping or just laying down. His legs get shaky and he gets these involuntary muscle spasm; like he’s getting shocked.

lynda721@jenniefinds007 The hard part is that he doesn’t act one way all day. So I’m constantly trying to keep him comfortable but, he wants to literally sit on me. I have to wait until he sleeps to Posh because I he will cry if I take my hand off of him. Then a few hours later he wants to play! swirlygurl@lhaag721 Concentrate on the good things while taking care of yourself. Life is tough. My daughter had an accident at work last week and after several doctor appointments we had to take her to the hospital Burn Center. I haven’t been online much while we take care of her. Very scary. It’s been difficult to manage 2 posh parties during this. My main focus is her.

lynda721@swirlygurl Is it a third degree burn?
Apr 04Reply
lynda721
lynda721@swirlygurl I’m sure it’s been hard! Prayers for a quick recovery for your poor daughter. I know all about burns. My former husband was a Chef and had an accident while transporting a big pot of boiling water. They had to do skin graphs to treat it. They said that pain meds don’t help pain from burns so he had to suffer through it. I hope she gets better treatment.

lynda721@triciamariets He will not recover from the infection he has. We are going to the Vet tomorrow morning. They need to listen to his lungs and possibly take X-rays. I am doing everything I can to make him comfortable and spoiling him rotten. If you look at the second picture (the one with the brown comforter) , you can see it in his eyes compared to the other photos.

lynda721@katiejerozal11 Hi Katie. Thank you for letting me know you are knowledgeable about dogs. Chase has a very bad infection in his mouth. Last January 2021, was when he was diagnosed. Unfortunately antibiotics don’t work on the infection. So he was doing fine for almost a year. My only choice was to have all his teeth pulled. But, I didn’t want him to go through that at his age (14). The Vet also told me that it was high risk to put him under anesthesia.

katiejerozal11@lhaag721 sometimes iv antibiotics will work better at fighting that

lynda721@katiejerozal11 Pain meds don’t seem to help. He is having neurological issues that have been showing up as soon as I figure out how to deal with these strange things he is doing. He’s been coughing for over a month but, when he first started doing it, I didn’t know what it was. Now it sounds like a cough. His allergies have made things a lot more difficult.

katiejerozal11
katiejerozal11@lhaag721 coughing I’m older dogs can be heart issues. Maybe have the vet check there

lynda721@lostcoastdayhkr Thank you my friend. I appreciate it very much. My whole Posh Family have been so unbelievably supportive. It really gives me the strength to deal with all of this for so many weeks. Going to the Vet tomorrow.
Apr 05Reply
lynda721
lynda721@katiejerozal11 Yes. His heart is enlarged. The past few days his stomach looks bloated. They are going to listen to his lungs and probably X-ray them tomorrow. He has always been at my side but, now he can’t get any closer to me 24-7. Especially when he’s sleeping. He slept in my arms the past few nights. That is the only way that I can get him to sleep.

lynda721
lynda721@katiejerozal11 I appreciate that so much, Katie. It must be so hard to be a Vet when there are so many different breeds. I’ve been waiting Ching Chase when he coughs or he will just stand there and he is visibly shaking. That’s got to be difficult. I’ve hit up Google a few times but only to get the definition of a word or something. Not for advice, that’s for sure. 🌹💕

lynda721@swirlygurl Thank you my friend. It means a lot to me. It has really shaken us up. But, Tony wouldn’t want tears. He loved family. His two boys, both in their early twenties, are with us and we are all so happy to be together as we grieve. Tony was a very special person. He was loved by all. My cousin said to me the other day… Only the Good Die Young. It is so true in this case. 💕
