merri_gracelandThank you Jennifer @snowqueensgems! I appreciate your kindness and will be value shopping your closet for a new wardrobe. Tops, maxis - or light, comfy kimonos/robes. Need Medium/6 long sleeve, button down, parsons/Mandarin or standing collars for rehab and dr appts and sunblock forever. So… nice clothes to access chest that can be worn in bed and in public. And of course, pray for all transplants. It’s such a blessing to have a rare second chance, but it’s hard to endure.

merri_gracelandDear Joanne @violetskys7, God bless you! It’s a long process. I have just finished a weeklong evaluation to be approved or denied. Im approved, but won’t go on the list until I tie up a couple of loose strings. I understand that once on the list, you can be called a week or three years. Emory requires a 1,000-foot six minute walk… before listing. So get on that. Also, prepare a wardrobe as in my comment above.. unless you want to spend 3-4 months in pajamas. ❤️‍🩹🙏🏼❤️‍🩹 LET’S DO THIS!!! 🙏🏼❤️‍🩹🙏🏼

I feel like if I can survive all this testing, I can survive the transplant. 😂 it is arduous. Plus, my breathing worsens daily. So, I’m ready for this! 🙃

carolhazen@merri_graceland well sweet Pff, i had to go through this testing and evaluations with my BFF a year ago. so hard just to get where you are. Or is it You?? the fairy dust pic had me believing it was for a granddaughter. Please explain more in your description. and i am shocked they did it without insurance!! she had to be fully covered to qualify. What part of the country are you in? i am so blessed to have KU right here. Prayers daily sweet friend! Xo

And yes, I have had, and continue to undergo quite a bit🏋🏻‍♂️ to be placed on the list at Emory… and stay there. Insurance doesn’t cover all costs. Posh’s changes aren’t helping. 🤷🏼‍♀️
