tarcellaI’m excited! You can make this longer? I have a Mexico wedding and need it by the 10th of May. Is this possible? Also, is it possible to make the side slits not so high?

tarcellaIt says this item is not for sale. Does this mean you’re on vacation? Or does this mean it is impossible to get this item?

velvetfringe
velvetfringe@tarcella hi there! Thank you for your interest! I’m sorry I won’t be able to get this skirt finished for your upcoming wedding event! I’ve been moving and healing from a surgery I had recently so as soon as I’m healed and able to work again I will reopen my shop and this skirt will be available again, if you’re still interested. ☺️

velvetfringe
velvetfringe@tarcella I can also make the slits different, I overlap the fabric at the base of the waistband so I could just overlap them a little more so the opening doesn’t go up quite as high. That would probably be the best way, unless you have another preference? Anyway, thank you again and sorry that it’s not available at this time, feel free to reach out if you have any other questions at all! ☺️❤️ Kristen

tarcella
tarcella@velvetfringe I’m hoping you are recovered! I’m 5’10”, do you think 44in would be long enough? I also like the idea of the little more overlap as long as it doesn’t take away from the style. It’s not a major issue, I’m just not as young as I used to be. Ha!

velvetfringe
velvetfringe@tarcella hi love! 👋 Sorry for the delayed response, I’ve been playing a bit of catch up! 44” could be long enough if you’re 5’10” depending on where you want the hem to hit. The best way to be sure is to measure from smallest part of waist (about where bellybutton is or where you want top of waistband to hit) and drop the tape down the front of you to your feet while wearing the shoes you plan to wear the skirt with, especially if planning to wear heels.

velvetfringe
velvetfringe@tarcella The skirt length is adjustable by folding the waistband down too and you can also cut down the length yourself if needed. ☺️

velvetfringe
velvetfringe@tarcella as far as the overlap at top thigh, it doesn’t really open up unless you’re walking, it overlaps about 2” currently but I can make it overlap another 1”-2” more or whatever you prefer. I hope this helps! I’m happy to customize the length and overlap to your preference so just let me know. And if you have any other questions don’t hesitate to reach out. Thanks again!! ☺️🙏🏼❤️

tarcella
tarcella@velvetfringe I will measure when I get home from work! Thanks for the info. Do you think that an extra inch or two of overlap will distract from the beauty of the skirt?
May 25Reply
velvetfringe
velvetfringe@tarcella it won’t look that different other than when you walk you may see just a little bit of leg or ankle but not as much. ❤️
May 25Reply
tarcella
tarcella@velvetfringe okay velvet, I want one of these!!! I would love you to overlap as much as you can without it changing the look of the skirt. Also, I’m just over 5’10” and waist down is 44 inches on me. You said that’s the standard length for my size. I’m tall. Are you sure that will be long enough?
Jun 05Reply
tarcella
tarcellaActually, I’m in between sizes. My waist is 30 and my hips are 39. I think that means I’m a medium?
Jun 05Reply
velvetfringe
velvetfringe@tarcella hiya!! Awesome! If the length you got is 44” then that is what you should go with! I can add an inch if you’d feel better about that, especially to add some length for shoes if needed. As for size, yes, I would recommend size medium with your measurements. I hope this helps! Thanks again love! Let me know if you have any other questions before ordering! ☺️❤️

tarcella
tarcella@velvetfringe let’s add that inch! How do I order with all these specifics?
Jun 05Reply
velvetfringe
velvetfringe@tarcella Okay will do! Go ahead and order the medium and I have all of your custom info here and I will make a note of it with your order also. I’ll write you through your order as well and confirm the custom requests with you once more. ☺️❤️
