Vintage 1960’s Pendleton Knockabouts Blanket Jacket, super rare. 100% virgin wool in classic Hudson Bay style rainbow stripes (aka Glacier stripe). Has two front pockets with wooden buttons, and an ivory colored liner which feels like satin. Women’s vintage size 14, which should fit a medium (or small for a slightly oversized look). Please see measurements below to verify sizing. Excellent condition given it’s age, with no holes. Has all original buttons, and size tag is still intact. There are a few small notches in the wool as seen in the photos, but they are not particularly noticeable. There is also a tiny stain on the inside liner which may come out with dry cleaning (not seen when worn).
This is one of the most stunning jackets I have ever seen, absolutely beautiful statement piece!
Approximate measurements laying flat:
Pit to pit - 20.5”
Length from shoulder to bottom hem - 32”
Sleeve length - 20.5”

Do you think this would fit a 40 bust?

@eleanor_bryant I think it should, but I am not entirely sure. You can check the measurements with some of your other coats to verify!
