Rare limited availability Tiffany & Company Paloma Picasso (daughter of famed artist Pablo Picasso) was born April 19, 1949 in Vallauris France. Surrounded by artists from a very young age, Paloma worked as a costume designer when some of her jewelry creations caught the attention of critics. She then went on to design jewelry for Zolotas, Yves Saint Laurent and Tiffany & Co. She eventually launched her own line, creating perfume and designer accessories. This fabulous necklace is a signed piece by Paloma Picasso for Tiffany & Co.! It has a stylish look comprised of generously sized links, which are crafted in black palladium over sterling silver. Each oval link has a flexible design made of hand cut silver, which is woven together to create its textured appearance. The oversized sterling toggle clasp, is engraved with the "Paloma Picasso" signature hallmark on the toggle bar. The back of the clasp is stamped "© Paloma Picasso", "TIFFANY & CO." and "925 GERMANY." The necklace comes with its original Tiffany & Co. blue suede carrying pouch with drawstring closure and box. A very impressive piece by a legendary designer, this eye-catching necklace is perfect for the fashion-forward woman! Measurements: The necklace measures approximately 33" long. Each flexible oval link is 1 1/2" long, 1" wide, and 3/16" thick. The toggle clasp has a 1 1/2" diameter, and the bar measures 1 1/2" long. Can be worn doubled as a choker or long.
