Vintage 1950's Pendleton Red Plaid Long Classic Overcoat Woman's Size Small in Excellent Condition. Trending!  Perfect for the Holidays! Wow! This coat has everything going for it! Darling 1950's boxy cut. Full 39" length.  This style was copied by Francis Valentine in a different plaid and is shown in their 2023 Fall new arrivals collection from which you can get great styling ideas!  It also retails there for almost $600 before tax and shipping!  This coat is highly collectable and a true prize as it is the original real thing.  Perfect prestigious 1950's vintage Pendleton label. Bright red, green and white plaid. Bound buttonholes which were tailored by hand. Big beautiful & useful flap pockets, extra button sewn inside, all original buttons attached with thread shanks which means they were securely sewn on by hand and will not fall off. Bracelet length sleeves which are a little bit shorter than wrist length so you can show off a nice pair of gloves and a bracelet or two. Please note: The sleeves are not short. The style at the time was to have your sleeves end above your wrists in order to allow you to show off your pretty gloves and bracelets!  Fully lined in red satin Millium lining which is really warm. The lining is in very clean and in nearly perfect condition. ( It is very rare to find these without underarm stains, tears and stains in the lining! ) There are just a very few frayed threads on the lining near the R bottom hem. It is 70 yrs old!
