a_special_t That's great, but when you like an item and would like to purchase it and ask for information, such as what the item is made of and get no answer it's rather frustrating, especially when the seller is an ambassador. I keep receiving offers to purchase but never get an answer to my repeated requests for information. This is an issue that I've run into on multiple occasions.

stellasparkle I just want to say that I have a like section with hundreds of likes. It inspires me. I might buy later on…but if I like it and want to remember it, it’s a great tool for me. I hope it doesn’t frustrate people but I’m going to continue to pile up my likes. And I do buy…a LOT! So I think it’s ok. Just a friendly, different perspective on this. trulydesirehim @haleygall8 I think this can go two ways. Some may like the item but don't have the money at the moment. I like a lot of items , especially now poshmark is starting to offer discount shipping throughout the day. I hate when the like asked a lot of questions once answered. No response not even a thank you. A like doesn't necessarily mean an offer should be sent. After checking their buying history i might inform them that i am open to reasonable offers.

haleygall8 @trulydesire yeah sorry not how i work on my page. I’m moving and selling stuff for limited time. If i have it offered at $30 and you liked it then… why would you decline an offer for $10 plus shipping discount. All that shows to me is that person isn’t truly serious. And I’m that case I do block people who go through just liking items or that decline every offer. But whatever works for your closet works for you! I’ve had no more issues with no needed likes since posting this!

peanutmypup I don’t think you truly understand what a like is. Think of it as a page holder. I love the item but it’s not my size so I don’t want to lose it when I go search my size, or I want to show my sister to see what she thinks, or a dream list because she has 3 kids at home and her husband already works 2 jobs to put food on the table. Or I’m selling something similar. I tell everyone who likes my items on Friday and sundays about posh closet clearout. Some are so grateful. Have a blessed day.

clsimp563 I totally agree with your line of thinking. I am new and find it frustrating when people like one of my items, without buying or sending an offer. The offers I do get are low ball, which is offensive. I have spent time putting my closet together just like everyone else. And for me I'm probably slower than many when it comes to posting listings because I'm still getting used to the platform. I was told to send offers to likers to increase sales, its a waste of time, they don't accept them.

lottashoes I used to get excited when somebody liked something and immediately send them an offer that gets ignored of sometimes declined. Now I just let the likes pile up and maybe send an offer later. I don't take it personally if someone likes and doesn't make an offer. I really think most people are being genuine and don't mean for it to be perceived as teasing a sale. But what I DO have an issue with is someone asking a whole bunch of questions that I answer immediately and then they drop it.....

lottashoes Like the time someone asked the gram weight of a necklace. I sent a picture of it on a scale. Then they wanted to know how much the bowl of the scale weighed, so I sent a video of it, then nothing... I really wanted to comment about the barometric pressure in the room, but I bit my tongue!

a_special_t @wendy_lew If it's clothing, I like to know what type of fabric. I was mainly referring to jewelry. Is it gold, sterling, or plated. Most sellers won't answer that question, so I assume it's cheap plated brass.

disneygurl2u That is not fair. Poshmark even states in their policy that it is okay to like an item even if you are not going to buy it. There should be no pressure to buy. Perhaps the buyer does not have their paycheck or earnings yet but hope to buy on a later date. So, yes I disagree. 🤷‍♀️

disneygurl2u I cannot believe this. I do not like lowball offers on the items that I am selling either but that is not always the reason behind a like. Some people like so they can later come back to buy. Come on! And, everyone likes. a good deal. You cannot tell me , y’all that you would not like a good deal as well! Right…as a seller we want profit but as a buyer, we want a bargain. Am I wrong?!? I do not think anyone has said that they would rather pay regular price on anything.
