This vintage Liz Claiborne red dress is from the late 80’s & early 90’s when we all still dressed for work. In a sz 10, this beauty was cutting edge at the time when designers tried to keep materials more natural, hence forth the 100% raw silk. If you’re not familiar with raw silk, it’s unbrushed, shows natural fibers through, is matte finished & has the look of linen. The pleated shoulder with large pads, button front, & drop pleated waist give it life, the zip back & split at rear a bit of sexy! In EVC, the triple stitching on neck & down front at buttons & adorable ruching give that extra something, which back then was high fashion, & now is known as granny cottage core style! Straight from my attic, she could use a wash & freshening before wearing, she’s priced to sell!
