kgorski115@alexandra123123 it appears to be the remnants from a leftover gel insert for the ball of the foot ....that was put in the shoe for comfort or fit. I am selling for me my mother in law. but the white rubs off and what is left underneath is the original sole of the shoe...so i would not say it is peeling. does that help?
