Hi! I figured I would post this on Posh so that anyone looking to purchase aligns is aware that Lululemon has added an extra layer of fabric to “light” colored aligns. On their website they don’t clearly state in the title which aligns are double lined and which aren’t. If you see a side seam like in the pics I posted, then that’s the only way to know for sure which colors are double lined. I purchased Vivid Plum and Soleil and ended up returning because the extra lining is much thicker, hot, and more compressed. Not the signature “naked” feel as single lined aligns. runnergirl_0224Yes! I found the same thing, just bought two this week and they are thicker and even though they say high rise they aren’t as high rise as my other Aligns. I’m keeping them because I love the colors but disappointing. Thanks for posting!

johnsmommaThank you so much for posting this. I am aware of this and have been trying to point this out nicely to seller who intentionally omit this detail. Wunder Unders in the lighter colors and some pinks (Wisteria for ex.) are also double lined with an outer leg seam. Many sellers do not disclose this so Ask if there is an outer leg seam! Lululemon needs to be more transparent as well. I personally do not like the feel of this extra lining.

mandi4098@runnergirl_0224 I LOVED the colors too and was so excited when my package arrived but it’s way too hot in south Florida to have that extra layer. I wish they had more color options without the double lining.

mandi4098@johnsmomma I noticed sellers doing that too and luckily for me Lululemon accepted my return but idk if posh would accept a return for that. I totally agree Lulu needs to clearly state the double lining in the title of the leggings because I would think most people don’t look through pictures, descriptions, or reviews because they aren’t anticipating a change to a legging they already know they Love lol but oh well…. I just hope they have more colors released without the double lining.

luluaddict55@mandi4098 I don’t understand what the “light” color Aligns mean because some of these colors are clearly not light, at least to me. Am I missing something? I’m so confused 🤔

mandi4098@luluaddict55 I know I thought the same thing when I ordered Vivid Plum. To me it didn’t look light but it was double lined. On lulus website it says this: “Wear light colours with confidence. Our white and light colours are lined for coverage. The second layer of fabric adds a slightly thicker feel.” But they don’t specify which colors are “light”. The colors I have listed so far are the ones I know for sure are double lined.

mandi4098@luluaddict55 Lululemon also said another way to determine which are lined is if they have the outer seam down the leg. But even in some of their stock photos, the outer seam is not very clear. Hope this helps clarify!

luluaddict55@mandi4098 Thanks for posting this. Never noticed the side inseams on the double lined until you pointed them out. I always wonder when ordering on line since I don’t want to deal with the hassle of returning. I’m also in Fl and Summer is already here. Why so many double lined from Lululemon🤣I don’t like them because they don’t stay up for me as well as the regular ones, in addition to being so thick and 🥵.

I don’t get it because I have never had issues with my aligns being see through which I assume is why they are double lining a lot of them 🤷‍♀️ I tried to convince myself they weren’t that bad lol but it’s just not the same lightweight feeling and yeah super hot year round in Florida so less fabric is always better. I guess it’s a sign I don’t need anymore aligns 😂😂 I’m sure my bank account will be happy lol

hilly1975In the Lululemon website reviews people have been asking them to split the lined vs unlined pants into two categories for two weeks, and they still haven't done anything about it. I agree it is super confusing. This is a great PSA for Poshmark buyers since items may not be returnable. Thanks

kdfhenryThis was super frustrating, especially since the vivid plum shorts are only one layer so I was upset when the vivid plum leggings arrived double layered.
