tanyastylz Hi does this specific Chambray have any stretch to it? I’m trying to factor if the thighs will have any amount of stretch

xoxoklowe @tanyastylz I definitely think so. POL is a boho brand so the clothing usually has a generous fit for that true bohemian look. The waist on the large is 26” unstretched to 38” fully stretched. There’s lots of room there. Since they are harem style, the legs are billowy & are roomier then a standard Jean. I normally wear an 8 & the mediums fit me great. I think you’ll be very comfortable in the large. 🌸

heldigkartoffel If the waist on the small is 17" fully stretched, does that mean you won't be able to get the pants over your hips if they're any bigger than 34"?

xoxoklowe @heldigkartoffel Hi Rachel! The waist measurements are done flat lay which is industry standard. You need to double them to get the circumference. The waist on the small is 22” to 34” full stretch. The will definitely fit over your hips. I’ve sold a lot of these paints & my clients love them. There has been no fit issues. I always kept a pair for myself, they are my favorite & most comfortable jeans I’ve ever owned. Have a great day! 😃 Kristen

xoxoklowe @heldigkartoffel Hi again! I reread your comment. I misunderstood. Yes they will fit over your hips if they are larger then 34”. It’s just like with normal jeans. If you wear a 27” waist in a typical pair of jeans, they still fit over your hips which are definitely large then 27”. The zipper on opens so much. Like I said, I’ve sold tons & kept a med for myself. There have been no fit issues even with my curvy clientele. 🌸

xoxoklowe @heldigkartoffel There isn’t a zipper. I meant on regular jeans in the example of the 27” waist. They zipper only gives a few more inches of room yet they still fit over your hips. For example jeans with 27” waist only open up to 32-33” when the zipper & button are undone yet they still fit over hips larger then that. I hope that better explains it.

If there is no zipper and the waist (the narrowest point) reaches a max stretch of 34", then how will they fit over hips that are larger than 34"? My hips aren't much bigger (34.5"), but I don't want to buy pants that are impossible to put on

xoxoklowe @heldigkartoffel I measured the hip on the small. It is 44”. They will fit you. They are a lose fit balloon or harem pants. I don’t know how better to explain it to you. This my second restock. These sell as fast as I can get them in & not one fit complaint. Ultimately, it’s your call. You do whatever is comfortable for you.
