The House of Myrtlewood was established in Coos Bay, Oregon in 1929 and provided a sheltered workplace for many people who had various types of disability until it closed in 2018. There was a workshop and also a gift shop. This small, hand-turned wooden bowl has a beautifully decorated lid, and is a unique House of Myrtlewood creation. The age is difficult to tell and the piece shows signs of use and wear on the outside as well as a small crack on the rim. Priced accordingly.
