tawnirichards Sorry for the confusion. I have an old pair that are marked size 7 on the sole that fit great. I normally wear size 8, so it must be the UK size marking since made in Italy. So is your US 8 marked 7 on the sole?

ramsesscooby @tawnirichards I can’t speak for what you currently have but what I am selling for the size 8 US womens, the bottom has “7” which is the UK Womens size that correlates to the US 8. If it helps the France size for 8 US is 40 1/2.
