Fenton 2003 Desisgner Showcase Series Hand Painted Green Purple Vase Triple Signed This third piece in the Designer Showcase Series is the awe-inspiring work of Martha Reynolds. A captivating collectible, Reynolds' flip vase and base use a mold originated circa 1921 with a very limited design use from 1921 to the 1930s. Flip tumblers were made in Europe and America from the 1700s until the Civil War. This refined flip vase is crafted in willow green opalescent glass with a pale violet edge and a diamond optic pattern. Adding to the piece is a handpainted purple iris pattern with touches of yellow. The vase has a flared crimp edge with a purple glass Fenton base. Solid, almost 3lbs. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, scratches, fading, staining, wear marks or discoloration.
