They have never been hemmed or cut and feather border is still intact. Great condition, except of a defect, that was not pointed out to me when sold. There is a small rip below both belt loops in the back, but it is reinforced (originally by the manufacturer on both sides) with a cloth strap on the inside and won't be much visible when wearing due to the busy print (see second/third last picture).
