Parisian lace?? YES PLEASE! ๐ Vintage hand-stitched w/ intricate lace & tulle, from 50s-70s era, possibly earlier, buttoned high neck, hand-stitched button wrists, elastic waist. PRISTINE. This dress is STURDY. Itโs not frail; the stitching is tight, fabric intact & strong. I have searched every inch & cannot find a snag or loose stitch. A piece of history from haute couture Paris!

I got married in a peach colored dress just like that in Apr 1979. That Gibson Girl sort-of-style was the In Thing at the time.

@poshmark_paige Yes, that could be the Gibson Girl look, only difference is the updo hairstyle basically. Very cinched waistline, lots of lace, floor length gowns in the Victorian era. The bun updo was a big deal at the turn of the century, it was admirable. I didn't wear my hair up like that because we got married at some outpost in the high desert of San Bernadino Co. We were kind of in a hurry. LOL
