July 4 Independence Day Fun Fact
Independence Day should have been celebrated on July 2, 1776.
Although the Declaration of Independence document was dated July 4, congress actually voted for independence from Great Britain two days prior on July 2, 1776.
It apparently wasn’t signed by everyone until a month later on August 2, 1776.
It was only appropriate that we start the SELLebration early to cover the date when the Independence Day was voted for!

John Adams wrote a letter to his wife about how memorable Independence Day would be in American history...
In his letter, he said the day should be celebrated with parades, bonfires and fireworks. He was pretty accurate in this aspect But he was known to turn down invitations to 4th of July celebrations in protest.

I have close to 5000 listings now and sales is pretty regular, and I work on it weekly , if not daily…
My husband’s account only has about 700+ and his sales is not as much, probably a few times a month…
So I believe, listing more does help, just like in any other platform…

@mailersnmore thank you for the invite to next 3 events but I have to pass until the ones that will happen in August... my ADD and my circus (yes they ARE my flying monkeys) keeps me distracted too much for one shop and share a month! I would need a sparkling Pink straight jacket if I tried one a week! Ha! please keep me on the tag lists though! maybe I will be practicing insanity at the right time to join! have a great selling week!

I haven’t tried posh during those days last year but I was actively searching for deals the past PRIMEDAYS
AND many many of my friends and a lot of other people do shop and spend o lot on those days…
I’m relatively a newbie here (in terms of being active),
This is just my 9th month of being active on posh
I was active in other platforms prior…
I didn’t get my posh ambassador level 1 status until my 2nd year of joining posh… haha
So I’m trying to encourage others to get active here too
