VINTAGE Brooch, Vintage Flower Brooch, Silver Flower Brooch, Brooch, Brooch 7744 This vintage costume jewelry brooch is a great wearable piece. It does have some wear on the metal due to age and use. The stick bar pin is in good working condition. The sharp end of the pin does have some black discoloration. The stem has a place on the front. At first, I thought it had a chunk out of it then I realized the stem was so long that the chunk was actually where they fused two pieces together to make the extra long stem into one piece. That chunk has been painted over so that tells me that place is original to the piece. Metal does have some wear here and there, but that is to be expected due to age and use. This is a large statement size brooch. Measures 4 1/8 inches wide and flowerhead is 1 7/8 inches round. It is painted with a shimmery metallic silver tone. The center of the flower has three faux diamond sparkly aurora borealis rhinestones that flash the colors of pink, purple, yellow, orange, and blue. A wonderful eye-catching piece. I absolutely love this brooch. Brooches are great to wear on a coat lapel, use it to pin a scarf in place, or even pin it to a purse to give it more pizzaz.
