My ear piece broke off and optical place doesn’t have this frame anymore. I think they are actually kids frames but they could be listed under multiple categories. I NEED TO BE ABLE TO POP MY PRESCRIPTION LENS IN. PLEASE HELP ME SEARCH FOR THESE!! MY PRESCRIPTION IS HIGH AND THESE ARE ONLY GLASSES I HAVE RIGHT NOW AS I LITERALLY JUST DROPPED OFF 2 PAIR THE DAY BEFORE FOR NEW LENS AND THAT TAKES 7-10 DAYS. I CANNOT SEE WITHOUT THEM. WONT STAY ON FACE WITHOUT EAR PIECE. I HAVE TRIED TO MACGYVER IT TO NO AVAIL. IF FIND PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE LET ME KNOW AS I WILL NEED TO HAVE OVERNIGHTED TO ME! Thank you!

darkntwisty @myyesteam omg really? Can you give me the listing name/seller info? My extra glasses are being repaired and my usuals just happened to break at the same time. :/ I have such a high prescription I can’t see much of anything without my lens. Thank you Thank you!

darkntwisty @myyesteam ok. I know the brand but not the model/style. Without providing a treasure map did you see a style name? Thanks so much. Will be a big help. My rx is -12 and my eye dr said anything above a -5 is legally blind. They are literally my life blood.

darkntwisty @myyesteam thanks. I thought style name would be safe. I have to read 2 inches from the phone without glasses and can’t get around without them. I looked last night and couldn’t find them. I found a peachy pair and maybe clear but not dark pink just across the top and tiny bits of sides with rest clear. Don’t know how long I will have to sit around like this. Thanks again

soulnourishing Try an epoxy glue kit. It helped me repair a broken pair and I have been wearing them for the last 5 years in between other pairs now

darkntwisty @soulnourishing Wow. That’s awesome! Thanks. Mine broke in a weird place. The tiny metal piece that fits into a tiny hole in earpiece broke. Piece is so tiny. I don’t know how it stayed attached for as long as it did. I never knew how precarious it was.

soulnourishing @darkntwisty that’s the same place my break was too. We fused it with the leg sticking out and to be honest I never messed with it for a year or two while wearing. Then one day attempted to close it by accident and it bent on the fused seam. It been functional that way for several more years!! I have replaced them but now they are my extra ones to wear. Amazing!!

darkntwisty @soulnourishing Wow! That’s incredible! Good job.The only glue I had handy was super glue. Just doesn’t seem a spot big enough to stick, lol. After gluing it I put a tiny piece of duct tape around. It’s colorful from a mini roll so it doesn’t look like duct tape. It feels so precarious. I have to get new lens so the real test of this rigged one foot in the grave pair is whether or not the optician can pop old lens out and new lens in without popping the ear piece off. Thanks for the tip!

darkntwisty @robertadegray59 hi there! Thank you for the reply! I have been to multiple opticals and the way the ear piece attaches to the frame is so teeny tiny, and broken, they say they can’t do anything. :/ it’s aggravating to pay any large chunk of $ for glasses only to find out they are only hanging by a thread on day one.
