Aldo started Mr. B’s Gentlemen’s Boutique, a sub-label dedicated to the tradition of handmade footwear. The Gentlemen’s Boutique concept was founded on the principal that a gentleman doesn’t just shop; he invests and chooses wisely. ALDO’s founder, Aldo Bensadoun, grew up watching his cobbler grandfather handcraft shoes from the bottom up. This inspired the formation of Mr. B’s. Each shoe is designed using old world-methods and refined craftsmanship. From start to finish, the process involves 213 steps, most of them done by hand in Europe. Just to name a few, the shoes are vegetable-tanned, milled, drum-dried, and have welted construction. The Adamis style is a classic leather brogue.
