banshied7 @lolalovesluxe I sold on a competitor for a time. Great designer finds at goodwill stores made it profitable for awhile. But then goodwill caught on & began to horde the designer pieces. The market became saturated, platforms raised their rates... this site is literally to clean out my closets but ppl are so cheap, & the percentages are ridiculous.

luxauctionhouse Love that I’m seeing more sellers post this!! I know SOME buyers truly don’t understand the fees and that a good amount of us do this for a living . But the other half of buyers who do know and still expect dirt cheap prices is honestly offensive. If someone wants dirt cheap prices for high end things . Then they need to do what we do and go and learn the trade of sourcing, spend hours sifting through thrift stores and goodwills and bins to find these pieces and travel all over .

lolalovesluxe @danielladarlin I am disabled, this is what I do this for a living. Sourcing is a job on its own! Indeed the lowball offers on luxury lately are shocking! I started just blocking them immediately and hum Another One Bites The Dust to myself as I do it because there are just so many recently. I don’t sell to anyone who gives “bad/shady buyer” vibes anymore 🤷🏻‍♀️
