ksatzman No, the woman I bought it from sold it as Bakelite. Didn’t know you could test it. Sorry I can’t tell you more.

ksatzman Hi, I researched the testing of Bakelite and tested it and it is Bakelite. That said, I know the beads were restrung on the elastic so that aspect of the piece is not vintage.
